At San Diego Comic Con, fans got their first official glimpse at Season 4b of Fear The Walking Dead. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, be sure to check it out here. Asides from some crazy weather, your typical zombie drama, and a noticeable lack of Madison (pour one out), we’re sure you noticed a number of new faces. After killing off two major characters in the first half of Season 4 (Madison Clark and Nick Clark), Fear is adding five new cast members — you may even recognize some of them.
Stanford is known for his roles in movies like “Live Free or Die,” “The Hills Have Eyes,” and “X-Men, as well as the TV show “12 Monkeys”. Stanford’s character on Fear is an entrepreneur with a secret who will try to integrate with the characters played by Collins and Mitchell. Anyone getting Eugene vibes?
Daryl “Chill” Mitchell
Mitchell has appeared in well-known movies like “House Party,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Galaxy Quest,” and “Inside Man.” He’s also been in a number of TV shows like “Law & Order,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” “Brothers,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “NCIS: New Orleans.” Mitchell will find himself paired up with Mo Collins in this half season of Fear. He’s described as a “no-nonsense but hilarious character.” He’ll also be playing the first wheel-chair bound character in The Walking Dead universe.
Mo Collins, best known for her work on Mad Tv an Parks and Recreation, will be playing a mystery character. Little is known about her character at this point, but we do see her driving around in a semi-truck with Mitchell.
Henderson, known for his roles in “Fences,” “Manchester By The Sea” and “Ladybird,” will play a kind survivor that Luciana encounters sometime in the back half of Fear. He looks to be in pretty bad shape when Luciana finds him, so we’re wondering how long he might last.
Lastly, Tonya Pinkins, known for her roles in TV shows like “As The World Turns,” “24,” “Army Wives,” “Gotham,” and “Madam Secretary,” will play a mysterious villain. She is said to know more about our characters than they do. Honestly, I thought she looked pretty nice in the trailer, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see how things pan out.
