Chandler Riggs Says No More Fake-out Deaths on The Walking Dead
Series actor assures fans that there will be no more fake deaths to come.
The Walking Dead has been laying it on thick this year. Season 6 of AMC’s hit zombie drama has featured both fake-out deaths and near death experiences for many beloved characters. Most notably, Glenn was “killed off” in Episode 3 “Thank You”, only to return a few weeks later in Episode 7.
While this infuriated a large percentage of the fan base, viewers can rest assured that another fake-out death won’t be coming to the series any time soon.
In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) weighed in on the issue.
“There’s not going to be another fake-out, like you believe a character is dead and they come back. That’s not going to happen again. No way. I do think there are some big and exciting moments, and they’re going to shock a lot of people.”
So, the next time a character on the show dies on-screen, you can assume they are dead for good. We know your little heart can’t handle the torment any longer.
