Since its six episode Season 1 stint in 2015, fans have been eagerly awaiting the Season 2 premiere of Fear The Walking Dead, AMC’s companion series for The Walking Dead. According to AMC, Fear The Walking Dead will begin its second season on Sunday, April 10th at 9:00 p.m. EST. This means that Season 2 of FEAR will immediately proceed the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. It will also compete with the Season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones.
The season will be split in two portions (as is traditional with The Walking Dead) with seven episodes in the spring, and eight more later in 2016, for a fifteen total episodes in Season 2.
This is great news for dead-heads around the world, as we’ll be able to enjoy more zombie drama throughout all of 2016. In additional news, The Talking Dead will immediately follow Fear The Walking Dead at 10:00 p.m. EST. This will be the first time that host Chris Hardwick will cover FEAR specifically.
