In some recent casting news, AMC has announced that Ross Marquand will join the series for Season 5B. While no official word has been released regarding which character Marquand will play, many fans have been speculating that it might be The Walking Dead comic book fan favorite, Aaron.
In the comic book, Aaron is a recruiter of sorts for the Alexandria Safe Zone. Since we know that this is where the television series is likely headed, it’s safe to assume that Marquand would fulfill this role. Additionally, during The Talking Dead midseason finale, Robert Kirkman had announced that a prominent gay character would be introduced in Season 5B, leading die-hard fans of the comic book to speculate Aaron’s introduction even more.
Marquand is credited in a number of television series including Mad Men, Phineas and Ferb and I <3 Vampires. He is most well-known as a celebrity impressionist, in addition to his television series The Impression Guys.
