Warning – major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 5B ahead. Turn back now or forever hold your peace.
With the second half of Season 5 of The Walking Dead premiering tonight, die hard fans of the series are wondering about some major spoilers that have been making the rounds as of late. That said, some recent news from Examiner.com, The Walking Dead Subreddit, and The Spoiling Dead Fans has shed some light on which character will meet his/her demise, which character will stay behind, and who will be returning to the series.
Examiner.com is reporting from an unconfirmed source that in Episode 9 “What happened and what’s going on?” the group will split into two separate factions; one led by Rick heading to Richmond to find Noah’s family, and one led by Carol.
According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, Tyreese will meet his demise in the midseason premiere – hallelujah! This is most definitely confirmed as we’ve been privy to viewing a clip of his death scene. It also makes sense since Chad Coleman (the actor that plays Tyreese) recently signed on to star as a series regular in Syfy’s new series “The Expanse.” Additionally, according to our friends at The Spoiling Dead Fans – Chad Coleman hadn’t been seen on set after the rumors of his death starting circling.
Chad Coleman recently took the time to try and expunge the rumors of his death; however, if tradition stands true, once a character scores a new role on another series, it’s likely they were killed off.
In other spoiler news, some sources are also reporting that Noah, played by Tyler James Williams, will bite the dust this season. With the recent news of Williams getting cast in CBS’ new “Criminal Minds” spinoff, fans have been speculating that Noah would somehow be written off the show.
And if that wasn’t enough spoilers for you, it’s reported that Lennie James will reprise his role as Morgan within the first few episodes of the back half of season 5. Additionally, fans will be introduced to comic book character Aaron, rumored to be played by Ross Marquand, in episode 11 “Distance”.
What do you think about these rumors? Personally, I’m going to be happy to see Tyreese gone, since they deviated so far from the comics with his character. Sound off in the comments section below!
