Big news came out of New York Comic Con this weekend! The show has reportedly cast Eugene Porter and Sgt. Abraham Ford for Season 4 of The Walking Dead. It was announced today that Josh McDermitt (Retired at 35) has joined the hit series as Dr. Eugene Porter. He’ll be joined by his traveling companion Abraham Ford, played by Michael Cudlitz (Southland).
This news comes only weeks after Christian Serratos was cast as Rosita Espinosa – thus completing the trifecta from the hit comic book series.
The announcement was made during The Walking Dead panel at New York Comic Con where Cudlitz walked out on stage in character as the hardcore military man Abraham. If you remember from the comics, Abraham is the former Amy Sergeant traveling with Eugene, a former high school science teacher and Rosita, Abraham’s on-again off-again girlfriend. The traveling trio eventually cross paths with Rick Grimes and his band of survivors.
