I liked how you pointed out Beth’s singing as being slightly contradicting to the character. When her and Maggie sang by the fire in episode one this season, I thought it was so fitting. Although Emily Kinny is a talented singer, that scene displayed some of her acting talent as well. She seemed slightly self conscious and shy while she was singing. This time around it was like a freaking music video. Her voice was too good. Which, for the character makes me wonder when Beth got the singing lessons since the last time. It sounds strange to say but it would’ve been better for me if she didn’t have such a damn good voice.
